Steven Huang is Vice President of Design at SWIRLabs and a semiconductor engineering leader with over 25 years of experience in CMOS image sensor and readout integrated circuit (ROIC) development. His expertise spans sensor architecture, analog and mixed-signal design, layout, verification, and production release, with a career focused on high-speed, large-format, and extreme low-light imaging systems. Steven began his career at Photobit Corporation, contributing to the commercialization of early CMOS active pixel sensors, and later spent nearly two decades at Forza Silicon leading end-to-end custom CMOS sensor and ROIC programs, including a 2k × 2k, 4-megapixel visible sensor operating at 1000 frames per second using 3D stacking. At SWIRLabs, he oversees SPAD-based scientific sensor development in advanced 3D-stacked processes while driving innovation in analog and mixed-signal EDA automation, combining deep technical expertise with hands-on leadership and a strong record of published research in leading imaging conferences.
